The GPA addresses local preservation and land-use issues in a variety of ways, for example, by sponsoring public educational forums on preservation and conservation, by initiating legislation at the local level to aid preservation efforts, and by publishing educational documents. One of the GPA’s ongoing projects is the Jones Trust, which provides funding for the purpose of preserving and protecting land or buildings of historical or architectural significance in Guilford.
A list of highlights appears in the drop-down menu under GPA Projects (“GPA Accomplishments”), and information about individual projects can be selected from the same menu.
